Our services
We’re specialist fabricators of heavy and complex structural steel, able to deliver an end-to-end service that includes:
- Design – both consulting and detailing
- Solid QA system compliant with high end client requirements to AS5131 CC3 Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection
- Quality ISO9001, Safety AS4801 and Environmental ISO14001 certification
- Extensive prequalified weld procedures
- Welding and heavy automated welding
- Non-ferrous welding and surface treatment (large passivation facility for 300 series S/S)
- Heavy and oversize transport
Facilities and equipment
- 2,500 m2 — Main Workshop Assembly 25m span open layout for larger components
- 1,000 m2 Workshop
- 20,000 m2 of Onsite Storage with 5+ acres of hard stand area
- 2 x 18t Overhead gantry and onsite lifting capacity (1 x 20t and 1 x 17t overhead gantries with 25m span in main workshop)
- Onsite lifting equipment:
- 33t capacity forklift, 1 x 16t, 2 x 12t capacity forklifts, 15t mobile yard crane
- 2 of 70t heavy duty engineered jinker units
- When combined with 30t forklift, movement of up to 140t items on site can be achieved easily without additional equipment hire
- Heavy Lift Truck Trailer combination:
- Subcontractor; intra and interstate movement of 50m long, 100t, 4m wide segments on regular basis
- Welding equipment (Mig Welders):
- WIA, CIG Mig welders, all approx. 400-500a with remote wire feeders
- 2 sub arc welders 1000 Amp (Lincoln, Esab)
- 2 x Stud Welders (Soyer – up to 22mm diameter studs)
- 1000m2 Surface Treatment Facility:
- Surface treatment undercover area is insulated and climate controlled
- Blast chamber 8.1m wide – widest in SA (capable of coating 70m long items undercover)
- EPA approved
- Plate Beveller Bevels up to 50 thick plate for weld prepping etc.
